Starting the day well ...

Well, I was going to show you a picture of my sour dough starter fermenting happily away, but I seem to have killed it and the bubbles have gone :(  I'm going to leave it one more night and see how it looks in the morning.  But I will not give up!  We are aiming for a year of healthier eating, starting slowly ...

... Today we had a lovely healthy breakfast.  A jam doughnut from the organic bread stall at the Sunday Farmers' Market, followed by a lovely glass of sparkling apple cider from the Core apple house.  Pre-birthday celebrations :)  And all local produce ...

Try feeding it. Equal parts flour and water and a little bit of sugar. It might revive....
